Join us on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 as The Duet Club of Hamilton presents three exceptional artists, Erika Reiman, Ken Gee, Jianhan Wu in performance on our almost 100-year-old 7-foot semi-concert Steinway Grand Piano.
This concert celebrates both the musicians and the history of this beautiful instrument. Purchased in 1922 from New York City where Vladimir Horowitz advised the Club on its purchase, the money was raised by Club members and the Annual Piano Parties which were held to support the maintenance of the piano. Many well-known pianists have performed on the Duet Club Piano, including Vladimir Horowitz, Neil Chotem, Valerie Tryon, Pierre Lubashutz, Reginald Godden, and Gerald Moore amongst others.
