The year was marked by the Club in many ways, namely the our April Choral Concert, with guest choirs Kokoro and The Hamilton Chilren’s Choir (Esprimus) with “sold out” seating.
A Gala picnic at President Margaret Winters’ home was a memorable June event.
Our 125th Anniversary Luncheon in October included the premiere of a commissioned work by Paul Chappel for The Duet Club Chorus as well as the first movement of Haydn’s Toy Symphony with all joining in the fun.
Other events and concerts in 2014 were;
- The 6th Annual Michael Geryk Memorial Piano Competition
- A Recital with 4 previous Duet Club Scholarship Winners
- 2014 Scholarship Winners Recital and Presentation of 9 Scholarships.
- The Duet Club Chorus also presented several area concerts during the year.
